Ghana, October – December 2024
In collaboration with Mission Driven Purpose, RipplAffect continued its impactful work in Mankranso in Ashanti Region, Ghana, West Africa, in Fall 2024. During this phase of the initiative, 1,000 water filtration systems were distributed, providing clean and safe drinking water to thousands of individuals. This effort addresses the critical need for sustainable access to clean water in the region, helping to combat waterborne diseases and improve overall health outcomes. Two follow up visits in beneficiaries homes are planned next.
The Philippines, September – December 2024
RipplAffect continues its impactful work in the Philippines in partnership with Project Propel, extending our efforts further into 2024. We just finished distribution of additional 1,000 water filtration systems, providing clean, safe drinking water to 1,000 more families. As we continue our work, we are committed to empowering more communities with the tools they need for a healthier future, bringing hope and life through safe sustainable water solutions.
Kenya, March & June 2024
In 2024 RipplAffect organized two separate water filter distributions in Kenya in collaboration with two SDA Churches.
In March RipplAffect was thrilled for the distribution of 300 water filtration systems in Maasai Mara, Kenya, in collaboration with Fletcher SDA Church. Building on our past work in the region, this project provided clean, safe drinking water to hundreds of families. By delivering life-saving water filters, we are combating the spread of waterborne diseases and improving the overall health of these communities.
In June RipplAffect has launched yet another water filtration initiative in Kenya, this time in collaboration with Elmhurst SDA Church from Chicago, under the leadership of Pastor John Piroski. The distribution team, led by Carmen Piroski, delivered life-saving water filters to families in need. Building on our past efforts in the region, this project furthers our mission to fight waterborne diseases and enhance the health and well-being of entire communities. Pakistan, Nov 2023 – Feb 2024
In collaboration with Karachi Adventist Hospital, Pakistan Union, RUAJ Ministry, and Patras Bahadur, Director of the Global Center for Adventist-Muslim Relations at the General Conference, RipplAffect has led a large-scale clean water initiative in Pakistan. Together, we are working to provide life-saving water filtration systems to communities in need across the country.
“This initiative is a powerful testimony to the impact we can make through partnership and dedication to improving lives,” says Narcisa Mikov, Founder and Executive Director of RipplAffect. “It was a wonderful privilege to train about 30 people from Karachi Adventist Hospital and pastors from Pakistan. I am also very grateful for our collaboration with Dr. Patras Bahadur and Sergio Romero from RUAJ Ministry.”

Ghana, 2023 follow-up
In collaboration with the Mission Driven Purpose organization, RipplAffect supported a large-scale clean water initiative in Drobonso, Ghana, West Africa. During Spring 2023, we distributed 1,025 water filtration systems, providing safe drinking water to thousands of people. Two follow-up visits were conducted to ensure the filters were functioning properly, during which rice was also distributed to the community.
Impact:
This distribution of 1,025 filters benefited 1,400 infants, 27,000 children, and by God’s grace, a total of 7,066 people. But beyond the numbers are the powerful narratives that truly touch our hearts. Ernestina shared how she no longer suffers from diarrhea and typhoid thanks to these filters. The Ajay family expressed relief that they no longer have to worry about bacteria in their food. And Latifa, who is grateful for the ability to wash her clothes with clean water, summed it up: “Thank God for these filters!”

Peru, July 2023
RipplAffect partnered with Kettering College, an institution dedicated to preparing students for healthcare and medical sciences vocations, to bring clean and safe water to families in need in the Amazon region of Peru. This collaboration empowered students and volunteers to actively participate in humanitarian work, addressing the critical need for clean drinking water. By providing life-saving water filtration systems, the project not only improved health outcomes but also contributed to the well-being and long-term sustainability of these families. The partnership exemplifies how education and service can intersect to make a tangible impact in the world.
The Philippines, July – November 2023
RipplAffect continues its mission to provide clean water solutions through a collaborative project with Project Propel in the Philippines.
At the end of 2023, we successfully distributed 1,000 water filtration systems, ensuring that 1,000 families now have access to safe, clean drinking water for years to come. This initiative builds on our ongoing work in the region, transforming lives by addressing the urgent need for sustainable clean water sources.
Together, we are improving the health and well-being of entire communities.
Ghana, Spring 2023
Through a collaboration with the Mission Driven Purpose non-profit organization RipplAffect assisted with a large-scale effort in Drobonso, Ghana, West Africa. 1000 water filtration systems were distributed in this region during the Spring of 2023, there was also a follow-up action to make sure that filters function well.
