Bringing Clean Water and Living Hope to Thousands
A mission of mercy: restoring health and hope in Ethiopia, one village at a time.
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration between RipplAffect and the global media ministry It Is Written. This meaningful partnership marks the beginning of a powerful humanitarian and spiritual mission in Ethiopia.
Together, we are launching a major clean water initiative to distribute 1,000 high-capacity water filtration systems to remote villages surrounding Hawassa, a region where access to clean water is very limited. This initiative will directly impact the lives of approximately 8,000 individuals by providing them with safe, drinkable water—helping to reduce the spread of deadly waterborne diseases and giving families a renewed chance at health, stability, and dignity.
But this effort goes beyond just clean water. As we serve physical needs, we are also committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, our Savior—offering not only the gift of health but also the message of eternal hope and love.
Through this joint initiative of It Is Written and RipplAffect, families will:
- Gain access to long-lasting, life-saving water filters that can serve a household for up to 10 years
- Experience improved health outcomes, particularly for children under 5 who are most vulnerable to waterborne illnesses
- Be welcomed with compassion, prayer, and spiritual encouragement by the teams on the ground
We believe that clean water and the gospel go hand-in-hand—transforming both body and soul.
