In January 2026, RipplAffect expanded our collaboration with our long-standing partner, Project Propel, from our ongoing clean water work in the Philippines into Nepal. Together, we conducted a meaningful water filter distribution initiative to help families facing limited access to safe drinking water. This project reflects the growing reach of our partnership and our shared commitment to providing practical, sustainable clean water solutions to vulnerable communities.
During this initiative, water filtration systems were distributed at Monohara Settlement in Kathmandu and in Talku Village, Dakshinkali, reaching families who will now have access to safer drinking water for years to come. Each filter represents improved health, protection for children, and renewed hope for daily life. Community Response
The initiative was warmly welcomed by the community. Women beneficiaries expressed their relief and appreciation, sharing that access to clean drinking water will greatly improve their families’ health and daily lives. Local government representatives also participated in the program, encouraging the women and expressing their gratitude to the organization.
During the follow-up visit, several women shared that they now feel confident and safe drinking water from the filters. They also expressed that access to clean water will help reduce waterborne diseases during the upcoming rainy season.
